Esstman Grant Application

The Spring 2026 grant application period will open on January 26, 2026.  Parkway teachers should look for emails with details for this round of grants.

Please read the eligibility requirements and guidelines below and all the questions in this application before completing the application.

Eligibility Requirements To be eligible for a grant, teachers must be certified and currently teaching in a Parkway School District pre- school, K-12 school or K-12 program (including the Spark! and Fern Ridge programs, but not including before/after school programs). In addition to regular classroom teachers, these teachers include guidance counselors, coaches, specialists and Special School District teachers who teach students in Parkway.

Guidelines

When answering questions on this application, DO NOT link to any documents you may have on Google Drive.  We want to read your application in this format, not in a Google doc or spreadsheet.

However, you may include a link to a webpage/website if it enhances the reviewers' understanding of your project.  We expect you to enter most of the information describing your project as text on this application form - any links you provide should not serve as your answer to a question.  For example, if your project included the purchase of virtual reality glasses sold on Amazon, you could include a link to the Amazon webpage for the reviewers' reference.  But you also must include information that details why students will need virtual reality glasses for your project.

In an effort to not pay sales tax and be able to apply more funds to the items, please get permission from your school to purchase items through the district.  Grants are paid on a reimbursement basis.  Once the items are purchased, documentations must be presented to PAA for payment.
