The Parkway Alumni Association is proud to invest in the success and growth of Parkway students through a variety of student support programs. These programs are designed to enrich learning, inspire exploration beyond the classroom, and provide opportunities that help students reach their full potential.
From scholarships to special awards, and unique learning grants, our student support programs reflect the generosity of the Parkway community and our commitment to helping students thrive — both in school and beyond.
Together, we are building a brighter future for the next generation of Parkway graduates.
Granting Dreams
The Granting Dreams program, sponsored by Parkway Alumni Association, offers three grant opportunities for Parkway students who have a dream to learn outside their regular classroom: Dream Grants for Parkway K-12 students, Thomas Phelps Entrepreneurship Awards for students (grades 9-12) interested in business, and John Baker Music Scholar Awards for band students (grades 10-11).
Spark! Incubator/Phelps Entrepreneur Awards
The Parkway Alumni Association’s Thomas E. Phelps Fund is part of a two-fold plan by the PAA and Parkway School District to educate and encourage students to make their product or service ideas a reality, and to learn the fundamentals of launching and maintaining a real business.
Scholarships
There are a number of scholarships available for students who are dedicated to academic, athletic, and creative excellence.
Ron Edwards Scholars Program
The Ron Edwards Scholars Program helps make sure every student at River Bend Elementary can take home a book from the fall book fair — even if they might not be able to buy one on their own. Your donation can spark a love of reading and open up a world of imagination, learning, and new possibilities for these young readers!
